AMUN seeks high after-tax income by investing primarily in investment-grade, tax-exempt municipal securities. The fund maintains an ultra-short duration profile, typically two years or less, to help reduce interest rate sensitivity. The portfolio may include various types of municipal obligations such as general obligation and revenue bonds, variable- and floating-rate issues, and tender option bonds.
