CyberOptics Corporation is a global leader in designing, developing, manufacturing, and commercializing high-accuracy sensing solutions and system products for inspection and measurement applications. Their offerings are largely built upon Multi-Reflection Suppression (MRS) technology, encompassing versatile systems for metrology and inspection, including the MX3000 system for memory module analysis, and the advanced 3D NanoResolution MRS sensor and WX3000 system tailored for semiconductor wafer and advanced packaging inspection. The company also supplies a range of high-precision 3D and 2D sensors, specialized 3D MRS sensors, and alignment sensors for Surface Mount Technology (SMT) electronic assembly. Beyond MRS, CyberOptics provides a comprehensive suite of Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) tools, such as the multi-functional SQ3000 systems and QX Series 2D AOI products. They additionally offer MX products for memory module scrutiny, SPI products, and various solutions for semiconductor wafer and advanced packaging processes. For general industrial metrology, the company offers products like the CyberGage360, a flexible near-line or off-line measurement instrument, alongside other 3D scanning and metrology equipment. Their extensive portfolio further includes a variety of WaferSense sensors—covering airborne and in-line particle detection, auto multi, 300mm auto resistance, and auto vibration and leveling—as well as other automation sensors for leveling, gapping, teaching, and vibration. CyberOptics serves a diverse customer base, including SMT electronic assembly circuit board manufacturers, companies producing their own circuit boards, semiconductor manufacturers, and outsourced semiconductor assembly and test firms. Their products are distributed through independent sales representatives and a network of distributors. Founded in 1984, the company maintains its headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
