Stock Screener
Swingtrader runs a market-wide screen every trading day across NYSE and NASDAQ using the Minervini Trend Template — a technical framework for finding stocks in early-stage uptrends before they break out.
What the screener looks for
The screener applies the Minervini Trend Template and only passes stocks that meet all of the following conditions:
- Price is above its 200-day, 150-day, and 50-day moving averages
- The 200-day moving average is trending upward
- The 50-day moving average is above both the 150-day and 200-day moving averages
- Price is within a defined range of its 52-week high
- Relative strength is strong versus the broader market
This combination narrows the market to stocks that are already structurally positioned for a breakout, where the prevailing trend is doing most of the work.
What you see in the results
Each screened stock appears as a full data row with:
Technical metrics
- RSI
- Moving average crossovers
- Price and volume ratios
- Trend strength indicators
